This Dixon Boss WF Series complete washer seal hose fitting is made of plated iron and connects hose to a female NPT threaded connection. It has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a Boss clamp (not included) and male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on the other to connect to female NPT threaded connections. This fitting has a barbed end to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule (not included) and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on the other end to connect to male NPT threaded connections, and it has a Klingersil C4401 washer for a tight seal. This fitting is made of plated iron for strength, malleability, ductility, and resistance to corrosion, and the Klingersil C-4401 nitrile, rubber bonded, non-asbestos washer provides high heat resistance, chemical stability, high torque retention, and anti-stick properties. This Boss washer complete seal is recommended for use with Boss clamps and is recommended for steam service up to 450 degrees F.Hose fittings connect, control, change the direction of, and terminate the flow in piping and hose systems.
